Tai Chi is an art form practiced for optimal health and longevity. It is a holistic system combining breath, movement, and mindfulness. Explore how to harness and grow your energy through Tai Chi in nature this summer with Collin and Djazia! Great for balance, strength, and coordination, this practice will accommodate all ages and physical abilities. We will learn Yang-style Tai Chi, known for its slow and circular movements, and we'll also incorporate Qigong exercises, an ancient healing system of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to open up our meridians so any stagnant energy can freely flow.

 

Classes will be held rain or shine as we live right next to the park. If it is raining, we will practice indoors. At the park, we will meet at the flattest grassy area closest to the lake; look for the sign! The parking lot at the top tends to get full quickly, so additional parking will be available at our home, which is a closer walk to the grassy area.

No experience is necessary. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Arrive 15 min before class.
